This is a project is being carried out by The South Lismore Duckpond Landcare Group. Started April 2013 This photo is taken looking west across the Southern end of the Duckpond. We have poisoned a number of Coral Trees to try and clear the section in front of the pond. May 2013This photo is taken from the East bank looking towards Quarry Hill. 5/2013This is the dead Coral Trees behind 25 Casino Street behind them is the Duckpond. 5/2013In the foreground is Castor Oil Plant another Exotic Plant that needs to be removed. 5/2013This is part of the section I am working to try and clear the Coral Trees and vines so the Duckpond can be seen by people on the Eastern Bank. 6/2013As usual the pile of dead Coral Trees continues to grow. 8/2013

April 2016-Some of the trees that were planted near the pond, growing well.
April 2016-Bobcat has spread gravel on Causeway.

26/4/16-The area where the extended carpark will go.
26/4/16-I did the mowing with All Terrain mower and have made a start on the vines and Coral Trees.
26/4/16-These are Coral Trees I had poisoned many months ago. They are at the North/East tip of the Pond.
26/4/16-I have cut the trees down. Next job is to cut them into sections so they can be removed.
30/4/16-Dead trees have been cleared. A little more of a clear up and planting can begin.
